Hello, hello! I’m Lily! A rambling storyteller who endeavors to create things that brim with whimsy, wonder, and the joy of Jesus Christ ༄
I’ve always been one to take vivid romps through my imagination and that hasn’t changed much over the years, having been homeschooled along with my four younger siblings. It wasn’t a surprise then that I began to write and eventually started sharing my heart through photography and rambles!
When I’m not writing historical fantasy or immersed in a good novel, I’m likely to be found scrolling Pinterest to add to my many mood boards. Beautiful things bring me so much joy and I hope to capture that in the things I make :)) Anywho, I’m so happy you’re visiting my bloggy newsletter and hope you stick around!

My mission…
The Gardener’s Lily began as a newsletter for my writing but has bloomed into a digital diary of sorts, and I hope, an archive of romantic essays. The meaning behind the name is simple, I wanted something that was a play on my name but held more weight than just that, and then I recalled a word about the Lord. He is the gentle Gardener, and I am His lily flower. I’ve always been called Lily!
Even before this a mission was sprung! To create beautiful things and spread Christ’s light. To encourage sweetness across the corners of the internet I’ve taken up residence in.
Those corners hold similar things to what I share here—but on Substack I focus especially on rambles, ranging from faith to fable. If you like writing snippets and whimsy and pondering about faith and niche historical knowledge then you might just like my newsletter!
I dearly hope that the content I share—in all forms—brings a little happiness to your day. And reminds you, most of all, of Jesus! 💜
And another thing: I do not use, nor will use, any form of A.I content across my platforms. Everything shared is made by me! (or in some cases, like the art I feature, another human!)
